Marilyn Noszka

In painting a portrait I strive for strong resemblance of my subject and also an artistic rendering that invites the viewer to the subject as though they were meeting. Portraiture is a never-ending journey, as every human face is so extraordinarily unique - challenging me to capture that certain smile, gesture, expression of my subject.

Marilyn Noszka is a working portrait artist in Pittsburgh, Pa. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America, The Pastel Society of America and The Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators. She received undergraduate degrees from Youngstown State University and Carlow College and a Masters Degree from Duquesne University.
